Released on August 12, 2022, the film was produced by actor Suriya under his 2D Entertainment banner and directed by M. Muthaiah. Playing the character Thaenmozhi (lovingly called Thaenu), Aditi portrayed a hard-working, principled village girl who stands up for her rights. Her performance opposite leading actor Karthi received widespread critical acclaim.

Bhairavam (2025)

Aditi marked her Telugu film industry debut with Bhairavam, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala and released on May 30, 2025. The film is a Telugu remake of the Tamil action drama Garudan (2024) and featured her opposite Bellamkonda Sreenivas, with Manchu Manoj and Nara Rohith in supporting roles. The plot revolves around a minister’s attempt to acquire temple land valued at approximately INR 1,000 crores.

Unfortunately, Aditi’s role in this film was limited, with critics noting she appeared primarily in song sequences. Filmyscoops reviewers said “Aditi Shankar seems to be there just for the songs. Except for a few decent scenes, nothing really stands out.” M9 News critic Siddartha Toleti commented that she “appears opposite Bellamkonda Sreenivas mainly for the dance numbers” and that “all three female characters come across more as part of the supporting cast rather than significant leads.” The Hindu’s Srivathsan Nadadhur noted she was “relegated to the typical song-and-dance routine” and “seems miscast as a village belle.” The film grossed only INR 19.29 crores worldwide and is available for streaming on ZEE5 from July 18, 2025.

Once More (2025)

In 2024, Aditi signed on for a romantic musical film titled Once More, directed by Vignesh Srikanth (marking his directorial debut), with music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. She stars opposite actor Arjun Das in this “beautiful musical love story.” The film was announced with enthusiastic social media posts from the team expressing confidence in the project.
